In the first race topweight First Command appreciated the drop in class and was too good winning from Oui Si Attitude and Misty Eyes taking his record to 33 starts for 11 wins and 5 placings.  In the next race Differing Fortunes made it two wins from 5 starts in defeating Hioctdane and Pharomac.   Dragon Lord (by Octagonal from Scarlet Bird by Rubiton) carried topweight to win the third race from Lohengrin with Absalon third.

The 2yo event was next where Eclair Big Bang made an impressive debut racing away to cross the line untroubled to defeat Miss Wynette with Murtle Turtle third.  Eclair Big Bang is by Savabeel from Ennerdale and is now expected to be spelled for the spring.   Vima made it three out of five on the day for topweignts in taking out her 4th win in 16 starts from Major De with Tarvon third.  In the next race Whitten's Delight was too good for Couldn't Agreemore with Debeersonus third.

in the feature event of the day the Matrice Stakes Just Discreet stormed home holding off the strong finish of Road Warrior with Periduki fighting on along the rails for third.  In the final event Extra Virgin made it two in a row in defeating Nadaka with My Uncle Vinny third.
