Jenner made it two from two in the first race defeating Hot Testa from Victoria with Spiritof Endeavour third.  Another small field in race 2 where Budriguez showed his class with a return to form as he powered away to win easily in the final stages from Just Discreet with Generous Beau in third.   Budriguez took his record to 26 starts for 9 wins and 6 placings including remaining unbeaten over the track and distance in 3 starts.

In the next Like Bolt held off a determined challenge from Forty Two Below to take his record to 28 starts for 7 wins and 7 placings while in the fourth race Distillation got the stride in on the line to defeat Baklava Boy wth St Gabriel third.

Wotzitworth was too good for Pete's Show and Oui Si Attitude in the next while Spoilspot made it 3 from his last 4 starts in defeating Victorian Yellow Jersey with Medal Contender third.  The most inexperienced runner in the race Misty Eyes was the winner of the 7th race defeating Population with Strike Breaker third.  Misty Eyes took his record to 9 starts for 4 wins and 3 placings.   Favourite Ambrosia was successful in the last winning narrowly from Ranger's Boy with Visual Impact third.
