Offered by Kiah Glenn this colt is by Devaraja from the Luskin Star mare Blow the Budget and is from the family of Magic Konstev, Picket Fence, etc.  He was purchased by Magic Millions as agents for $18,000.

Lot 407 Barely a Moment - Bouncing Around

This filly is the second foal of Bouncing Around by Jeune and was sired by the first season stallion in Barely a Moment.  Her third dam is top rating filly of the 77-78 and 78-79 racing season in Scomeld a Group 1 winner of 12 races.  Offered by Tanfield Farm she was purchased by David Balfour for $8,000.

Offered by Inman Valley Stud this filly is by Danbird from the Northern Adventure mare Double Fault who has had 7 to race for 6 winners incl Concluding the dam of stakeswinner Moment in Time.  She was passed in for $14,000 with a reserve of $15,000.

By the first season sire Southern Image this filly is from the Bluebird mare Ella's Star who has produced three to race for three winners.  From the family of At Talaq she was offered by Red Gum Park and purchased by Kym Buick for $7,000.

This colt is a half brother to the Group 1 Goodwood Hcp winner Ambala amongst Kalka's 5 winners from 7 to race.  Offered by Balcrest Stud he was passed in for $13,5000 with a reserve of $15,000.

Offered by Riverside Stud this filly is by Bianconi from the Snippets mare Lady Isis who has produced three to race for three winners and is from stakeswinner Gay Rosalind who produced 13 to race for 11 winners including stakeswinner in Hong Kong and Australia Monopolize and stakesplaced Fiometta dam of Ruben who won 14 races.  She was purchased by Harvey Supple for $15,000.

A member of the second crop of Niello this colt is from the New Regent mare New Status who has had one to race for a winner.  Offered by Chatswood Stud he was purchased by Sharon Hayes for $14,500.

Lot 470 Real Jester - Pommery Princess

Offered by Tanfield Farm this colt is by Real Jester and is the first foal of the stakesplaced Pommery Princess (by Fraar).  From the family of Princess Coup he was passed in for $14,000 with a reserve of $18,000.

This colt is by Akhadan from the wonderful producer Rock Wall who has had 9 of her 13 foals race for 8 winners including the stakesplaced Lead the Charge.  Offered by Riverside Stud he was purchased by Denis O'Leary for $10,000.

YEARLING PHOTOGRAPHS from the Select and Summer Sessions

If you have purchased a yearling sold through the recent Adelaide Magic Millions sales and you are looking for photos taken during the sales week  I can be contacted via email on barnesphotography@bigpond.com.  Many yearlings were photographed for this Virtual Formguide report but but most of the others offered for sale were photographed walking in and around the parade ring. 

Photographs taken during sales week are used on the Virtual Formguide and national printed publications in reviews of the sale.  Later they are used in these racing pictorials when the yearlings go on to racetrack success.
