In March 2019 there were 523
yearlings catalogued and there were 61 withdrawls ultimately resulting
in 462 offered for sale. Over 270 of those yearlings either won or
were placed in races up to the midpoint of their 4yo season including 10
stakeswinners. Of the remainder each week more are starting to
improve show some form each week to join that winners list. Around 60 were either exported
or noted to have died while and a handful of the fillies both raced and
unraced are already at stud expecting foals in the new season.
Intersting to note all the top 10 selling yearlings in the sale have
gone on to win races with 2 of the top ten going on to become
stakeswinners.
